A St. Kilian Annual tradition continues! Saturday July 8 marked the Feast Day of St. Kilian, our Patron Saint. We celebrated with a Mass at 5pm followed by a parish BBQ out on the Church lawn. Hundreds of parishioners, young, old and in-between, came out to enjoy being together on a perfect summer evening, Thank you to Bishop Andrzej Zglejszewski who joined us as Mass celebrant. Hearty thanks as well to St. Kilian's KofC Council #2204 for their great grilling efforts, Wantagh American Legion Pipe and Drum Corp for the melodius bagpipes, the Kona Ice Truck for refreshing ices, and of course The Nutty Irishman for our beverages. A special shout out to Chris and Charlie, St. Kilian's maintenance team, for getting it all together behind the scenes for us! (Photos courtesy Bernie Geary - thank you Bernie!)
