St. Francis of Assisi, Feast day  October 4th, as the patron saint of animals and the environment, could be viewed as the original Earth Day advocate!  Blessings of pets were given by Msgr. Rowan, Fr. George and Deacon Bill Weiss on the Church lawn around our Blessed Mother Statue.
