
Eucharistic Ministers are trained and commissioned to distribute the Body and Blood of Christ at Sunday and Weekday Masses. They also assist at Funerals and other special liturgies. Lectors are trained and commissioned ministers who proclaim the Word of God. They serve at all Sunday and Weekday Masses. They also assist at Funeral Masses. Students in grades 5 through 12 can read the Scriptures at the 9:30 am Mass AND
Altar servers assist the priests and deacons at all Sunday Masses, First Communions and Confirmations. Students in grades 4 and up are encouraged to inquire on how they can serve at the altar. Being an altar server is a great service to the Church. It helps you grow in skill and confidence, and it is a very important ministry that involves commitment. Ushers are the first people parishioners and visitors meet upon entering the church. Ushers provide assistance at Sunday Masses and other special liturgical celebrations.
